Descendents

THE DESCENDENTS – 9th And Walnut

The punk heroes Descendents take an unusual approach on this new record – they've decided to record a bunch of their very first songs, which they wrote as teenagers in Long Beach. They sat in their rehearsal space, which happened to be a garage at 9th & Walnut, and together they learned to play their instruments and write songs.
The four original members Tony Lombardo (bass), Bill Stevenson (drums), Milo Aukerman (vocals) and guitarist Frank Navetta, who sadly passed away in 2008, have recorded the 18 songs that make up the album 9th & Walnut. Written between 1977 and 1980, these songs form the core of what later became one of punk's most respected and successful bands. The album includes a cover and two previously released tracks.
