Ron Miles - Witness

Facts Trumpeter Ron Miles' (May 9, 1963 - March 8, 2022) recording debut as a leader teamed him up with some of Colorado's top players: Fred Hess on tenor sax and flute, Art Lande on piano, Ken Walker on bass, and Bruno Carr drums. Miles displays an original tone and an active musical imagination during this excellent post-bop CD from the Denver-based Capri label.
